Shows That I Can't Stop Watching
In a world full of different streaming services, movies, and TV shows, binge-watching has become a hobby in most households. "Binge" watching first appeared in 2012 and was later the word of the year in 2015 by Collins English Dictionary. Binge-watching is something my family does a lot. It depends on how busy I am to binge-watch a show. I usually pick a show to binge watch in the summer to give me something to do. Below are just some of my favorite shows I have binge-watched.

My most bingeable show is The Vampire Diaries. I have watched this show about four times and have binge-watched it every single time. Vampires, a love triangle, and different villains make this show impossible to stop watching. I got to visit Covington, Georgia, the town where some of the show was filmed, over spring break. There is memorabilia, merchandise, and picture sports for any fans who love this show. The Vampire Diaries is available on Netflix.

One series I have binged recently is Cheer. Cheer is a docuseries that follows the training of the Navarro Community College, from Corsicana, Texas, cheer team and the Trinity Valley, from Athens, Texas, cheer team. Training for the National Cheer Competition in Daytona, Florida, follows both team's ups and downs on cheer life. I enjoyed this documentary series because it was interesting to see how hard they trained and then see who won the competition in the end. Cheer is available on Netflix.
I watched Euphoria season one in three days. I loved every second of it. I couldn't wait for the next season, but I didn't know it would be two years before it finally came out. Euphoria season two premiered in January and would come on every Sunday. You bet that every Sunday at 9 P.M., I was in my bed watching the next episode. Every episode ends so that you have to know what happens next. Euphoria is probably my favorite show at the moment. It is available on HBO Max.
Some people may think Binge watching is only for shows, but what if a movie has multiple? One series that I love to watch is Twilight. Every time I decide to watch Twilight, I have to start with the first and watch every single one until the last. One time, I started first thing in the morning, and it took me all day to watch all of the Twilights. Sometimes I will begin one, and it will take me a few days to finish. I love these movies, and I will probably never get tired of them.
Binge-watching can easily happen to you, but don't let it distract you from doing more important things. I feel like my list is great for my demographic and a lot of my friends have watched these as well. Everyone has their own preference of shows to watch, but binge-watching is something everyone can understand, especially in the world we live in today.
